Michigan grown berries, cherries, peaches, apples, and pickleball. Yes! Michigan is 'growing' PICKLEBALL! Everyday in Michigan pickleball players hear the "PoP!" of the pickleball on their paddles and say, "one more game...just for the fun of it!"

Continental Grip - When the point of the V between your thumb and index finger is placed at the middle of the top of the handle when your paddle is perpendicular to the ground.
Poach - Since you don't need butter or oil, poaching is a very healthful way to prepare eggs. The perfect poached egg will have a nice undisturbed yolk surrounded evenly by a shiny opaque oval of egg white. Presenting the perfect poached egg is a guaranteed way to impress a breakfast of brunch guest, but it can be tricky to master, especially for pickleball players because we 'stay out of the kitchen'!
Drop Volley - A soft hit ball that is placed just over the net with an underspin on the ball so it won't bounce high.
Overhead - A ball hit at the center of the paddle from a point as high as you can reach over your head. Underspin - typingpickleball instead ofPICKLEBALL!!
Top Spin -When a player makes the ball spin away from him low to high, the ball tends to drop because the contact of the paddle of the ball is up and over the ball.
Pure Winner - When your opponent never even touches your shot.
Cross Step - From a split step postition moving your right foot toward the left post or left foot toward the right post without moving your other foot at all.
Split Step - When both feet are parallel to each other and ready to cross in either direction.
3/4 Winner - Not htting a shot the fastest that you are capable of hitting so you will not sacrifice placement for power
Forehand - When hitting the ball on your right side of your body for right handed players and hitting the ball on the left side of your body when you are a left handed player.
Backhand - The stroke that eludes me.
N0 Volly Zone - (NVZ or Kitchen) - The area of the court between the net and the front line of the serving boxes.
Unforced Error - When a player misses a shot that is not very difficult.
Lob - A ball that is hit over your opponents head and bounces inside the baseline.
Volley - A ball that is hit before it touches the ground.
Ground Stroke - A ball that is hit after it bounces.
