Cheers: "To the Oleson Foundation, Grace McDonald, East Bay Township and area pickleball players for opening three pickleball courts at the township's Grace MacDonald Park. The courts, about two-thirds the size of a tennis court, are the first in the region. Pickleball combines aspects of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Players use a small, hard paddle to hit a smaller, hard whiffle ball. Money came from the Oleson Foundation; area players pitched in $10,800. Elmbrook Golf Course donated benches."
