KaZoo Pickleball Tournament! Go!


Come to Kalamazoo this Fall for two days of Pickleball fun!
  • Friday Oct 2nd - Pickleball Skills Drills PLUS "Crazy Mixed Up Doubles" from 6-9:30 PM
  • Saturday October 3rd - Fall Doubles Tournament from 8 AM - 7 PM

Enjoy Round Robin tournament play on 7 courts for Mixed, Women's and Men's Doubles in three ages groups: 19+, 50+ and 65+. Winners will receive ranking points (if they are USAPA Members), medals and awesome pickleball players' applause. Entry discounts apply for USAPA members.

Saturday's Round Robin Pickleball format guarantees at least 3 games per team. Flight winners advance to a Round Robin final play-off. The Portage YMCA offers SEVEN pickleball courts plus sky-box lounge and play-level locker rooms. Participants will receive a T-Shirt from Lee's Adventure Sports, hospitality bag of gifts from local sponsors. Paddles will be available on-site for purchase. Pizza Party Friday night, Morning coffee, breakfast pastries, water, fruit, energy bars, box lunch, snacks, fresh filtered water, Snapple & sports drinks during the day are included.

Friday evening includes a free Pickleball clinic for registered competitors (others can participate for $10 pp) followed by Crazy Mixed-Up Doubles with fun prizes & awards. This is a "mixer-style" event, so expect to be surprised who your partner will be when the bell rings! Refreshments will be provided.

Tournament registration is limited to 16 teams* in each of 9 divisions on a "first come-first served" basis. Divisions are Mixed 19+; Mixed 50+, Mixed 65+, Women's 19+, Women's 50+, Women's 65+, Men's 19+, Men's 50+ & Men's 65+. The age of any team is based upon the youngest player as of December 31, 2009. Teams may compete in a younger bracket, but they may not compete in an older one.
