When you have to use tape or any other non permanent lines, here is a tip. We do use the painters tape inside a gym in the winter time, and to speed things up immensely is put little bitty permanent dots on the floor, so all we have to do is quickly connect the dots each time we want to play.

We use a silver Sharpie so the dots are almost invisible to everyone except us. All you need is 6 dots on each side (three across for the kitchen line and three across for the baseline).
